GSV is a personal intelligence that's yours. It remembers you, works across your devices and accounts, talks to the GSVs of the people you trust, and keeps going while you sleep.
Join the list and we'll set yours up at your.gsv.space, free during early access, models included.
We'll set it up for your company and keep it running, on your own terms.
talk to us →Models get smarter, cheaper and smaller every year. Soon an assistant that knows your life and can act on it will be as ordinary as a phone, and the only question is who it works for.
GSV works for you. It keeps its memory where you can read it, asks before it acts, and shows you everything it does. Today it handles your paperwork, servers and online errands, filters your feeds down to what you'd actually want, and even talks to your friends' GSVs so a dinner gets planned without twelve messages. Next year it will do far more, and it will still be yours.
| place | state | what it does there |
|---|---|---|
| phone | online | talk to it wherever you are |
| browser | online | uses the sites you're already signed into |
| laptop | online | works with your files and runs things for you |
| home server | online | keeps an eye on it, restarts what's stuck, runs the backups |
| gaming pc | asleep | helps while you play: quest answers, auction lookups, replay tips. It's off right now, so anything for it waits and runs the moment it wakes. |
Talk to it from your phone, your laptop or the web. It's the same GSV with the same memory every time, and it keeps working when you're away.
It comes with models built in, so it works from the first minute. As models get better, yours does too. Bring your own if you like.
Connect your laptop, your server or your browser and GSV can work there for you: run things, move files, use the sites you're signed into. Nothing on your network is exposed.
Your GSV can talk to your friends' and family's GSVs, once you both say so. Plans get made and files get shared without anyone doing the back and forth.
What it learns about you is kept in plain pages you can read, edit and take with you, and every action it takes is written down for you to see.
GSV is open source, and the hosted service runs the same code you can read on GitHub. You can also run it yourself.
GSV is a personal intelligence: an AI that belongs to you. It remembers you, it can reach your devices and your accounts, and it keeps working while you sleep. You get your own space at your.gsv.space and you talk to it from wherever you already are: your phone, your laptop, the web.
It's built by Humans & Machines and it's open source. The name comes from the General Systems Vehicles in Iain M. Banks' Culture novels, the huge ship-Minds that look after their crew.
A chat app answers inside its own window and forgets you when you leave. GSV has its own address and its own memory, and it acts across the devices and accounts you connect. Ask it to read a log on your server and fix a file on your laptop in the same sentence, then go to bed; it keeps working.
If you've run an agent on your own machine, you know the setup and the upkeep that come with it. We host GSV for you with models included, so it works from the first minute. What it does runs under your permissions and is written to a ledger you can read, and the code is open source, so you can check exactly how it behaves.
The boring parts of life, mostly. A few things people hand it first:
It's a computer with a mind, so the real answer is whatever you hand it. Try the box above.
Your GSV's memory and persistent state are stored in its own isolated space. Everything it does is written to a ledger you can read. We don't sell it, we don't train on it, and our telemetry never contains message content.
The code is public, so you can see exactly what the service records rather than take our word for it.
Nothing while we're in early access. Your GSV comes with models included and we cover the usage. We'll announce pricing before we ask anyone to pay, and the people on the list hear first.
No. We host your GSV for you. You need an email address and a minute to pick a name and a password. Connecting your phone or your laptop takes about a minute each, and GSV walks you through it.
Yes, MIT licensed, all of it: github.com/deathbyknowledge/gsv. The hosted service runs that same code, so what you read is what runs.
It's early, and we're letting people in a few at a time so every GSV gets attention. The core works today: memory, your devices, your browser, routines, messaging, and GSVs talking to each other. Everything we build lands in your space as we ship it, and the people in early access shape what comes next.
Early access updates, release notes, and occasional deep dives.
